Poet, mathematician, philosopher, physicist, astronomer, theologian, logician, and doctor. His medical texts were used throughout Europe and the Middle East for hundreds of years. Just one of those amazing amazing polymath Muslims the West likes to ignore.

Also, if this picture’s anything to go by, pretty good-looking, too. It probably isn’t, but a girl can dream.
